notes from the heavens

The screeching blue jays and honking Canada geese have begun their autumnal serenade in anticipation of the spring cleaning winter promises to provide. The Old Farmer's Almanac says the winter is likely to be bland in this neck of the woods, but who knows how accurate that crystal ball may be?

Didn't we just have winter?

Do we need another?

Since water is no joke, I guess a whiteout or two or more would be welcome.

  1. As the Buddha was so fond of saying:

    Here, monks, are the roots of trees;
    here are empty places.
    Meditate! Don't be lazy!
    Don't be ones who are later remorseful.
    This is my instruction to you.
