living in another's grave

Wrapped up in another's blankets,
Tucked in tight against the chill,
Put one more around my shoulders --
Loving, right and wise and kind.

As perfect as a winding sheet
These blankets protect, defend and save
Until perhaps the sun comes up
And shines warmly on another's grave.
