A BBC story notes that drug smugglers tried and failed to scale a California fence in an apparent effort to bring a load of marijuana into the United States from Mexico. Their car got stuck and they retreated.
What impresses me about the picture above is not so much the foiled-caper aspect as it is the size and height of the 14-foot fence.
The United States seems to be devolving into Israel.
