"Subprime College Educations"

.
In the United States, college-level prices continue to rise.

Quality continues to sag.

College becomes a social marker rather than suggesting the ability to think.

Narcissism waxes as education wanes.

George Will argues the "Subprime College Educations" case better than I in his column.

PS. I do wonder what the statistics might show: How many college students were expelled for academic underachievement at any given instution in 1960, 1970, 1980 ... and 2011?
